SpaceStationAR is an augmented reality (AR) application that allows users to observe the visibility of satellites in the night sky. This app offers a non-commercial and informational experience for individuals interested in space exploration.

Using your iPhone or iPad camera, SpaceStationAR overlays the passes of notable satellites onto the actual environment around you. This includes the magnificent International Space Station, captivating Starlink Trains, and various other satellites involved in space exploration. Additionally, you can use the app to identify bright stars, galaxies, iconic spacecraft like Voyager 1 and Voyager 2, and even discover the direction of major cities beyond the Earth's surface. SpaceStationAR is also a valuable tool for antenna installation as it indicates the positions of geostationary satellites.

In addition to the AR views, the app also provides access to satellite orbits on maps and celestial charts. The "Calendar" tab displays upcoming satellite passes and rocket launches within the next two weeks, allowing users to select and simulate passes in AR.

SpaceStationAR offers a seamless user experience with its companion Apple Watch app and convenient "Today" widget. Compatible devices allow users to easily check a simplified satellite forecast list without opening the main app.

The LITE version of the app limits AR mode display to 30 minutes before satellite passes and does not offer real-time AR functionality. Additionally, advertisements are displayed at the bottom of the screen.
